About Guest Speaker
Tim Lee is the Executive Director of Habersham Partnership for Growth, a private-public-partnership charged with Economic Development for Habersham County.
As Executive Director of the Economic Development Council, he is responsible for executing the vision of the Partnership. This involves facilitating the growth of existing business, partnering with local schools and businesses to promote workforce development initiatives, and work with local governments to foster coordinated economic development and support programs.
Prior to moving to Habersham County in February 2017, Tim was the 6th Chairman of Cobb County from 2011 to 2016 and served as District Commissioner from 2002-2010.
Honored as Cobb County Citizen of the Year in 2013, Tim has been named as one of the Most Influential Georgians in both Georgia Trend and the Atlanta Business Chronicle and was recognized by Atlanta magazine as one of the most powerful people shaping Metro Atlanta.
In addition to his 14 years of public service, Lee has over 40 years of strategic planning, marketing and communication private sector experience.
Tim and his wife, Annette, have three children, six grandchildren and live in Cornelia.
